Goodwill Industries

— Design Brief —

Edgar’s Bistro, an upscale bar and restaurant is located in an industrial warehouse, a former Sam’s Club, and is used as a hospitality and culinary training facility for Helms College. Suzanne M Rogers Interiors did the complete interior architecture and design. The project included designing a custom bar, lounge, restaurant, and banquet room; and ADA compliant restrooms. Details included floating ceilings and acoustical design; non-structural partitions; window design and placement; the main entrance, reception and hostess station.
The bar, which Suzanne designed specifically for Edgar’s Bistro features one-of-a-kind architectural details such as the circular vents with ambient lighting, steel foot rests, and a quartz counter. Suzanne M Rogers Interiors selected all lighting; designed custom lounge and restaurant furnishings; and finish materials such as the concrete floor design, tile, solid surfaces, and metal work.
A unique paint palette was created exclusively for Goodwill Industries, which is now used in their stores and training facilities throughout the Southeast.
